Durable Electrostatic Powder Coat Paint Process, guaranteeing a consistent HIGH QUALITY, resists mars and scratches. This Powder Coat finish is environmentally "friendly", No Solvents or Hazardous Materials, Zero "VOC's and EPA approved. This is the "Greenest" coating process available.
Constructed with a composite of 16, 18 and 20 Gauge Heavy-duty Steel components. Writing Surface is 18 Gauge.
Heavy-duty Steel "positive latch" Male/Female friction catches, Zinc plated to resist rust and proven reliable over decades of use.

Heavy-duty Steel "Slide bar supports" for the Writing Surface, Zinc plated to resist rust and proven reliable over decades of use.

Brass washers utilized to reduce friction between attached components.

Built to last for "Years" of satisfactory service

Special "Lip" at bottom edge of Writing Surface to hold paperwork when desk is in the closed position.

Double "90 degree" bend on front of Writing Surface for added strength and durability.

The FD-100 (shown) weighs 14 pounds.
The Writing Surface of the FD-100 was "strength tested" in the shop and held over 60 pounds of weight. This desk was not designed to hold that much weight....we did so to show that it is "indeed durable and strong."
